Hungry for Health is a performance & workshop that we at Altru are extremely proud of. The session began life as a performance for Liverpool Youth Service in Summer 2005, where hundreds of children in summer play schemes and youth clubs were able to access in the performance and workshop and evaluate its success.

This evaluation allowed us to develop the piece and showcase it to Five-a-Day activities co-ordinators from across the Northwest. The piece was then commissioned by North Liverpool PCT and South/Central Liverpool PCT.

Since September 2005, we have delivered Hungry for Health in hundreds of schools across the Northwest delivering important messages about diet, exercise and a healthy body image.
