My Day – a performance for young people and their parents

In 2008 we were commissioned by Sefton Extended Schools to create and deliver a drama performance which addressed the difficult issue of transition from primary to secondary school.

The resulting performance ‘My Day’ was performed at High School open evenings across Sefton for parents who were either anticipating the event or had just been through it themselves.

The 20 minute performance which aims to demonstrate many of the traps parents can subconsciously fall into when sending their children off to secondary school, was a resounding success with parents and teachers alike enjoying the comedy of the all too real situations and conversations depicted.
