Theatre in Education
Theatre in Education (TIE) can be a purposeful and enjoyable
part of every child’s school life – giving children and young people the chance to explore ideas, develop opinions and make choices – all in a relaxed, fun and exciting atmosphere.

At Altru we aim to deliver the highest quality Theatre in Education performances which are always accompanied by a workshop where participants can ask questions, reflect on what they’ve seen and develop their ideas further.

We currently tour five Theatre in Education performance and workshop packages:

EYES OPEN
a drugs education performance for year 6 pupils.

B IS FOR BULLY
our long running performance and workshop with a
strong anti-bullying message.

FINGERS BURNT
which focuses on antisocial behaviour and firework safety.

HUNGRY FOR HEALTH
developed with the 5-a-day organisation to explore
healthy eating and exercise.

CHARLIE'S ECO JOURNEY
an environmental awareness piece.

If you’d like to contact us to discuss a project idea or have a chat about the work we deliver then please feel free! We are more than happy to develop new TIE projects to meet your organisation or school's needs.
